INTROIT ANTIPHON: When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I | called my son.
ANTIPHON PARAPHRASE: Young Israel I have loved and I called Him out from Egypt's land.
INTROIT PSALM: Why do the nations rage? Why do the peoples grumble in vain? The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers join together against the LORD and against his Anointed One. The one who is seated in heaven laughs. The LORD scoffs at them. Then he speaks to them in his anger, and in his wrath he terrifies them.
GRADUAL: Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from the nations, so that we may give thanks to your holy name and praise you confidently. You, the LORD, are our Father. Our Redeemer from everlasting is your name.
ACCLAMATION: Alleluia, alleluia. My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord. Let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever. Alleluia.
