Sing praise to God who reigns above
1. Sing praise to God who reigns above, the God of all creation,
the God of power, the God of love, the God of our salvation.
My soul with comfort rich he fills, and every grief he gently stills:
to God all praise and glory!
2. What God's almighty power has made, in mercy he is keeping;
by morning glow or evening shade his eye is never sleeping.
And where he rules in kingly might, there all is just and all is right:
to God all praise and glory!
3. The Lord is never far away, but through all grief distressing,
an ever present help and stay, our peace, and joy, and blessing;
as with a mother's tender hand, God gently leads the chosen band:
to God all praise and glory!
4. Let all who know Christ's holy name give God the praise and glory.
Let all who know his power proclaim aloud the wondrous story.
Cast every idol from its throne; the Lord is God, and he alone:
to God all praise and glory!

I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

The stone that was rejected
The stone that was rejected is now the cornerstone.
Rejoice and sing glad praises: behold what God has done.
Let us build the new Jerusalem
With our hearts and with our hands,
For Christ is our foundation; on him all goodness stands.
A vine has sprung from Jesse’s stem and we are grafted in;
The Lamb once slain now lives again and saves us from our sin.
With Christ the true foundation,
We all are living stones;
He opens wide salvation’s gates and claims us as His own.
The tents of the just resound with shouts of joy and victory!
The blind now see, the deaf now hear, the leper and lame walk free;
Praise God, who saves us by his grace
And mercy, rich and pure;
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good: forever his love endures.
