By the lamb the sheep were redeemed:
Christ the sinless one has reconciled sinners to the Father.
Death and life have contended in that wondrous battle:
the Prince of life, who died reigns immortal.

Tell us, Mary, what did you see as you were on your way?
The tomb of Christ, who is living,
and the glory of his resurrection.
The angelic witnesses, the cloth and his garments.

Christ my hope is arisen: He goes before us to Galilee.
Truly Christ is arisen from the dead:
O King victorious, have mercy on us.
